Yorba Linda Negotiations Update: Tentative Agreement Ratified

Dear OCEA member,

We did it! Members have overwhelmingly ratified our tentative agreement with the City of Yorba Linda. The next step is a vote to adopt the agreement by the City Council, which is expected to be on the agenda for the City Council’s regular meeting Aug. 6.

If approved by the City, you and your co-workers will receive the following general wage increases:

• 6% effective July 1, 2024 (retroactive)
• 3% effective July 1, 2025
• 3% effective July 1, 2026

Collectively, you did a great job standing together in solidarity. Our member actions, which included hand-delivering a signed petition at a City Council meeting, helped get us to a 6% general wage increase this year. It’s the highest general wage increase Yorba Linda members have ever received.
