Thank you to everyone who attended our membership meeting on Thursday, March 20, 2025. As you know, negotiations with the City of Newport Beach will begin soon. Although our current contract doesn’t expire until the end of December, the City has requested that we commence negotiations a little earlier than usual. Your NBEL negotiations team is preparing to represent your interests and fight for the wages, benefits and working conditions you deserve. As we prepare our strategy, your input is critical.

The multiple fires across Los Angeles County over the past three days have destroyed thousands of homes and other structures and brought ash and smoke-filled skies to parts of Orange County.
