CSA/CST Merger on Board of Supervisors Agenda

As you are very much aware, Sheriff Barnes has made the decision to merge the CST, Sr. CST, and CSA classifications. These discussions began approximately three years and were severely delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This matter is finally set for Board of Supervisors approval on August 10, 2021.

County OCEA Members - You Are Getting a Raise

It's a pleasure to deliver the following news. When you review your paycheck today, you will see a 2.5% general wage increase and a further 1.2% decrease in "Reverse Pick up" retirement contributions. That’s a net effect increase in your gross income of 3.7%.

Angels v. Yankees Aug. 31! Exclusive discounts for OCEA members

The celebrated New York Yankees are coming to Angel Stadium in August. The Angels are offering exclusive ticket discounts for OCEA members now that pandemic restrictions have been lifted. If you act fast, you can save $19 per person for seating in the Right Field Pavilion. Seats cost $45 apiece but you pay only $26 per person plus processing fees. The savings for a family of four could total $76.
