COUNTY: 3.5% Wage Increase, Small Dues Increase on July 22 Paychecks

This Friday, you’ll see the 3.5% negotiated wage increase reflected on your paycheck. For an average OCEA worker that means a base pay increase of $107.69 per paycheck, or $2,800 annually.

OCFA Negotiations Update: Thursday, June 30

June 30, 2022

On Monday, your bargaining team met again with OCFA management. In a continued display of the disregard for the struggles that you and your family have faced with higher inflation and gas prices, OCFA has not changed ​its proposal of ​a total of 1.25% for a two-year contract (0.625% per year). Additionally, while management has ​stated that ​it would like input for a classification and compensation study, it has rejected our demand for a guarantee that nobody has their salaries frozen as a result of the outcome of that study.

Tentative Agreement Approved by City Council!

We are happy to announce that the Garden Grove City Council voted unanimously to adopt the Tentative Agreements with the City reached by the League and GGCEA! Members of both the League and Association voted to ratify the Tentative Agreement earlier in the week, clearing the way for last night's Council action.

At our last CFS Caseload Management Forum, we implemented a new structure that focuses on one or two specific programs per month. These meetings are intended to identify ways to improve caseload metrics and to implement improvements for workers. The focus of our June 15 meeting was Court Services.
